Historically the Figma iPad experience was the same as the phone app: you could mirror designs, and nothing else. This was our first venture into editing on iPad.
I led product and supporting our marketing strategy. We enabled full FigJam editing, brought a native UI layer for our toolbar, and optimised the app for the Apple Pencil so people could sketch and iterate on ideas. We then enabled every other FigJam feature.
FigJam for iPad shipped as part of the Figma app on the App Store and quickly grew in popularity for more freeform creative work.
